Project Overview

Originally known as Building 26 the new Health and Life Sciences building was designed to house a new integrated healthcare program, with adaptable learning environments and a focus on collaboration. The renovation of this 4 story building included34,500 sq ft of renovation and an addition of 45,400 sq ft. A tight timeline that would allow for student to come into the space in time for classes meant that every phase of installation had to be very efficient. In some cases contractors were still working while installation was taking place in another area.

The reality of working in an older building is that floors are not always level and walls are not always straight. This meant the installation team needed to be detailed and precise, making small adjusts so that everything fit perfectly.
Highline had a specific vision of their space which meant several custom options were required including a custom designed Teknion office and reception. Together with our manufacturing partner 3 Form, we sourced specialty lighted plexiglass and had it custom built by our local partner Markr. The end result was spectacular and exactly what Highline had in mind.
